the real problem with dating sites is the feeling u r surrounded by phonies, 13 yr olds and lunatics, this is honestly not the case here. Eharmony being hard to get into is somehow selective. The profile questions apparently do help throw the right candidates in your path.

well to me eharmony seems very effective although rather expensive, but not a big problem….. i have met some very interesting and exciting people so fat *thumbs up*

The website was effective in finding people to match my personality, or what they claimed to have as a personality. I began talking to people who I seemed to get along with great, but when in person, they were not at all who they said they were. I absolutely understand that this is not the fault of the website, but when the site is as expensive as it is, I will not spend my time and money on people who are not what they say they are. If the price were reduced I would be much more apt to give it a second chance.

I just started Eharmony and though it is fairly expensive, it seems to be easier than other sites I’ve tried. Overall, good value.

Eharmony really worked for me. I thought it was impossible to find something lasting online, but my friends all encouraged me to try it. I finally gave in, and the process was surprisingly easy. I’ve found a few great matches– and the process has been very exciting

I was a bit shy about online dating so when my friends decided to try it, I backed out. 2 months into it, they’ve BOTH been on multiple dates and have finally narrowed it down. I’m so happy for them. I guess online dating isn’t as bad as it seems. They’re all asking me to give it a try too.
